General

What is ALPANDIA?

ALPANDIA is an AI-powered communication intelligence platform purpose-built for telecom operators, contact centers, banks, government agencies, and large enterprises. We provide real-time voice translation, transcription, scam detection, agent coaching, and compliance monitoring — deployed at carrier scale across cloud, on-premise, and edge environments.

Who is ALPANDIA designed for?

ALPANDIA is built for organizations that operate at scale and can't afford communication failures: Tier-1 and Tier-2 telecom operators, large contact centers (500+ agents), banks and financial institutions, government agencies, healthcare providers, and large enterprises. Our minimum deployment typically starts at 100,000 calls per month.

What makes ALPANDIA different from other voice AI vendors?

Three things set ALPANDIA apart: (1) Carrier-grade reliability — our platform processes millions of concurrent calls with 98% SLA. (2) Real telecom integration — we integrate natively via SS7, SIP, and WebRTC, not just through app-layer APIs. (3) Deployment flexibility — the only vendor offering the full AI stack in cloud, on-premise, hybrid, and air-gapped environments with feature parity.

How many languages does ALPANDIA support?

ALPANDIA supports 40+ languages and dialects for real-time translation, 60+ for transcription, and 40+ for scam detection and sentiment analysis. Coverage includes major world languages plus regional dialects — for example, we differentiate between Standard Arabic and Levantine, Gulf, Egyptian, and Moroccan Darija variants.

What scale does ALPANDIA operate at?

The ALPANDIA platform processes over 50 billion calls per year across 40+ countries. A single deployment instance supports 1 million+ concurrent voice sessions. Our platform has handled peak traffic events including national election hotlines and global sports event support lines without degradation.

What is ALPANDIA's processing latency?

End-to-end processing latency varies by product and configuration. Real-time translation: < 300ms median. Speech transcription (streaming): < 200ms. Scam detection scoring: < 500ms. Agent whisper delivery: < 1 second from signal. All latency figures include transmission to our nearest regional processing node.

Products & Features

How accurate is ALPANDIA's real-time translation?

Translation accuracy depends on language pair, audio quality, and domain. In our benchmark testing on contact center audio, median translation accuracy is 97.8% across our top 20 language pairs. For industry-specific vocabulary, custom vocabulary training improves accuracy by 4-8 percentage points. We publish full benchmark methodology and results in our technical documentation.

What transcription accuracy does ALPANDIA achieve?

ALPANDIA achieves 99.2% average word error rate (WER) across English-language contact center audio. For other languages, accuracy ranges from 97.1% to 99.4% depending on training data availability. Medical transcription models achieve 99.1% accuracy on clinical terminology in supported languages. Custom vocabulary training improves accuracy for domain-specific terms.

How does ALPANDIA's scam detection work?

ALPANDIA scam detection uses behavioral AI models trained on 50B+ labeled calls to score conversations in real time. The model analyzes speech patterns, conversational dynamics, linguistic markers, and contextual signals — not just keywords — to detect social engineering, voice cloning, and fraud behavioral patterns. Scores are updated every 2 seconds throughout the call.

Can ALPANDIA detect AI-generated or cloned voices?

Yes. ALPANDIA's scam detection includes a voice synthesis detection model that identifies AI-generated, cloned, and deepfake voice audio. The model analyzes acoustic properties that differ between natural and synthetic speech — including micro-timing artifacts, formant consistency, and spectral characteristics. Detection accuracy on known voice cloning systems exceeds 94%.

What is AI agent whispering and how does it work?

AI agent whispering is real-time, silent coaching delivered to agents during live calls. ALPANDIA continuously analyzes the conversation and pushes relevant guidance to the agent's screen: product information, compliance prompts, objection handling scripts, escalation triggers, and next-best actions. The customer never hears the coaching — it appears only on the agent's display within 1 second of the triggering signal.

Can ALPANDIA monitor both agent and customer speech simultaneously?

Yes. ALPANDIA processes multi-channel audio with separate agent and customer tracks, or performs speaker diarization on single-channel recordings. This enables independent analysis of agent speech (compliance, quality, emotion) and customer speech (intent, sentiment, fraud signals) simultaneously throughout the call.

Does ALPANDIA support post-call analytics as well as real-time?

Yes. ALPANDIA supports both streaming real-time processing and batch post-call analytics. Post-call analytics processes completed call recordings for transcription, topic extraction, sentiment analysis, QA scoring, and compliance review. Real-time and post-call data are unified in the analytics platform for complete conversation intelligence.

What types of PII does ALPANDIA automatically detect and redact?

ALPANDIA redacts 25+ PII categories including: credit card numbers (all major formats), bank account numbers, social security numbers, national ID numbers, dates of birth, phone numbers, email addresses, postal addresses, healthcare identifiers, passport numbers, and custom entity types you define. Redaction replaces PII in transcripts with category labels (e.g., [CREDIT_CARD]) while preserving transcript readability.

Can ALPANDIA integrate with our existing CRM and ticketing systems?

Yes. ALPANDIA provides pre-built integrations with Salesforce, Zendesk, HubSpot, ServiceNow, Microsoft Dynamics, and Oracle Service Cloud. Custom integrations are supported via webhooks, REST API, and event streams. CRM integration enables automatic case creation, transcript attachment, AI-enriched contact records, and sentiment-triggered workflows.

How does custom vocabulary training work?

Custom vocabulary training allows you to improve ALPANDIA's accuracy on industry-specific terms, product names, acronyms, and proper nouns. You provide a vocabulary list of up to 5,000 terms; ALPANDIA updates the recognition model within 24 hours. For full custom acoustic model training on your call recordings, our AI team works with you on a training engagement (typically 4-6 weeks).

All SDKs have 100% API coverage, idiomatic async patterns, streaming support, automatic retry, type safety, and test utilities. SDKs are MIT-licensed and available on npm, pip, Go modules, Maven Central, RubyGems, and Packagist.

How does ALPANDIA handle high concurrency and traffic spikes?

ALPANDIA uses elastic auto-scaling that provisions additional compute capacity in under 30 seconds in response to traffic increases. Our architecture is designed for carrier-grade burst capacity — we have processed 5× baseline traffic during major public events without degradation. Customers can pre-provision capacity for known peak periods. SLA uptime is 98% at any concurrency level.

Can ALPANDIA run fully on-premise or in an air-gapped environment?

Yes. ALPANDIA's on-premise deployment runs the full AI stack — including all models, APIs, and management tooling — within your data center with zero external dependencies. Air-gapped deployment is available for classified and highly regulated environments. Updates are delivered via secure offline update packages. Minimum infrastructure: Kubernetes cluster with GPU-enabled nodes (16+ cores, 64GB RAM, NVIDIA A10 or equivalent).

What is ALPANDIA's uptime SLA?

ALPANDIA's standard SLA is 98% uptime (< 7.3 days annual downtime) for cloud deployments. Enterprise SLAs with financial penalties are available. On-premise deployments are supported with maintenance SLAs but uptime commitments depend on customer infrastructure. SLA is measured at the API endpoint level with independent third-party monitoring.

How does ALPANDIA handle poor audio quality?

ALPANDIA includes audio preprocessing that reduces noise, removes codec artifacts, and normalizes volume levels before AI processing. The acoustic models are trained on degraded audio including G.711 μ-law compression, 8kHz sampling, background noise, and echo — matching real-world telephony conditions. We also provide audio quality scoring that lets downstream systems weight AI outputs by audio confidence.

Does ALPANDIA support training custom AI models on my data?

Yes, for Enterprise customers. Custom training is available for acoustic models (domain adaptation on your call recordings), language models (terminology and domain-specific fine-tuning), scam detection models (training on your fraud patterns), and QA scoring models (aligned to your specific rubrics). Custom model training is available as a professional services engagement.

What is ALPANDIA's data retention policy?

By default, ALPANDIA retains audio for 7 days and transcripts/metadata for 90 days. Both are configurable — retention can be set from 1 day to 7 years depending on compliance requirements. Customers can also configure zero retention (no data stored after processing), with results delivered only via webhook and never written to ALPANDIA storage. All data is encrypted at rest with customer-managed key options.

Security & Compliance

What security certifications does ALPANDIA hold?

ALPANDIA holds: SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, PCI DSS Level 1, GDPR compliance (with Data Processing Agreements available), HIPAA compliance (with BAA available), FedRAMP-ready (authorization in progress), and CSA STAR. ALPANDIA provides: Single Sign-On (SAML 2.0, OIDC/OAuth 2.0) for all management interfaces, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) with pre-built roles (admin, operator, analyst, read-only), Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) for fine-grained policy, API key scoping by product, IP allowlisting, and complete audit logs of all access and configuration events exportable to SIEM.

Where does ALPANDIA store and process data?

ALPANDIA has processing regions in Singapore (APAC), Frankfurt and Dublin (EU), London (UK), New York and Virginia (US-East), and California (US-West). Data residency is configurable per customer — you choose which regions your data is processed and stored in. Cross-region transfer can be disabled. On-premise customers process and store data entirely within their own infrastructure.

How does ALPANDIA handle security incidents?

ALPANDIA's incident response program includes: 24/7 security monitoring by our Security Operations Center (SOC), defined escalation procedures with RTO and RPO commitments, customer notification within 72 hours for confirmed breaches (GDPR-compliant), post-incident reports with root cause analysis, and optional real-time security notifications via webhook. We publish a public security changelog for significant events.

Can I use my own encryption keys (BYOK)?

Yes. ALPANDIA's Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) feature lets Enterprise customers manage their own encryption keys via AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault, or Google Cloud KMS. ALPANDIA never has access to your plaintext keys — all encryption operations are performed in your key management service. Key rotation, revocation, and audit logging are managed through your existing KMS infrastructure.

Can we conduct penetration testing on ALPANDIA?

Yes. Enterprise customers may conduct penetration testing of their ALPANDIA environment with prior written approval. We provide a penetration testing request form, coordination support, and access to our network diagram and security architecture documentation. Testing must be scoped to your customer environment and cannot target shared infrastructure. ALPANDIA also shares annual third-party penetration test reports under NDA.

Pricing & Deployment

How is ALPANDIA priced?

ALPANDIA is priced based on usage — specifically by minutes of audio processed and the AI features enabled per stream. Pricing varies by product, volume tier, and deployment model. There are no per-seat fees or minimum agent counts. Enterprise customers negotiate annual committed use agreements with volume discounts. Contact our sales team for a pricing discussion based on your expected volume.

Is there a minimum commitment or contract term?

ALPANDIA's standard commercial terms are annual commitments. Monthly billing is available for Enterprise customers with higher per-minute rates. For large volume commitments, 2-3 year agreements with significant volume discounts are available. There is no minimum call volume requirement, though our platform is designed for organizations processing at least 100,000 minutes per month.

How does on-premise deployment pricing work?

On-premise deployment has a different pricing model from cloud. A one-time setup and configuration fee covers deployment, integration, and model installation. Annual licensing fees replace usage-based charges and are based on maximum concurrent sessions licensed. Support, updates, and model refresh are included in the annual license. Custom model training is a separate engagement.

What support is included with ALPANDIA?

All Enterprise customers receive: 24/7 technical support via email and dedicated Slack channel, a named Customer Success Manager, quarterly business reviews, access to the developer portal and documentation, and SLA-backed response times (P1: 1 hour, P2: 4 hours, P3: 1 business day). Premium support tiers with dedicated engineering support and < 15-minute P1 response are available.

Can ALPANDIA deploy across multiple regions simultaneously?

Yes. Multi-region deployment is available for Enterprise customers and is recommended for organizations operating across multiple geographies. A global load balancer routes calls to the nearest processing region, minimizing latency. Data residency controls can differ by region — EU calls processed only in EU, APAC calls processed only in APAC — with a unified analytics view across all regions.

What does a proof-of-concept (POC) with ALPANDIA include?

A standard ALPANDIA POC includes: a dedicated solution engineer assigned to your project, integration support for your specific environment, configuration of the AI features relevant to your use case, access to live processing with your real call data, a measurement framework aligned to your KPIs, and a business case readout at the end. POCs typically run 30-60 days.

Are there data egress or storage costs in addition to usage fees?

Standard ALPANDIA pricing includes data storage at our default retention levels and data egress for webhook delivery to a single endpoint. Additional egress costs apply for data exports to customer cloud storage, high-volume SIEM streaming, and custom data pipeline integrations. On-premise customers have no ALPANDIA-related egress costs — all data remains within their infrastructure.

What happens if our call volume decreases significantly?

For customers on usage-based pricing, lower volume naturally results in lower costs. For customers on committed annual agreements, we structure contracts with a committed minimum and overage pricing for peak periods. If your volume is expected to decrease significantly, we can work with you to restructure the commitment at renewal. We don't penalize customers for volume reductions caused by market changes.

Does ALPANDIA offer reseller or OEM agreements for partners?

Yes. ALPANDIA has a formal partner program including: Reseller agreements for system integrators and solution providers, OEM/white-label agreements for vendors who want to embed ALPANDIA capabilities in their own products, Referral partnerships, and Technology alliance partnerships. Partner inquiries should be directed to partners@alpandia.com.

What professional services does ALPANDIA offer?

ALPANDIA's professional services include: Deployment and integration services, Custom model training, Systems architecture consulting, Compliance and security readiness assessments, Training and enablement programs, and Ongoing optimization engagements.
